Odisha Crime Branch has rescued 894 kids throughout an eight-day lengthy particular drive organised to hint lacking kids, stated Odisha Director General of Police (DGP) Abhay on Thursday.
Talking to ANI the DGP stated, “The Odisha Crime branch conducted a special drive between January 18 and 25 to rescue missing children. During the drive, we traced and rescued 894 children in the state. We will continue this drive and will take action against the accused involved.”
He additional knowledgeable that out of the 894 rescued kids, 800 had been ladies and remaining 94 had been boys.
The rescue drive pertains to 834 lacking complaints lodged at varied police stations throughout the state. Kendrapara district police rescued 127 kids whereas Mayurbhanj and Balasore traced 111 and 88 kids, respectively.
The DGP additionally appreciated the great work of Superintendents of police of various districts.
