The idea of ayurveda and its allied disciplines will quickly be launched in veterinary sciences with the ministries involved signing an preliminary pact to this impact.

The MoU between Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying (DAHD), Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying and Ministry of AYUSH was signed on April 7, an official assertion stated.

This cooperation will certainly assist in growing a regulatory mechanism for using ayurveda within the veterinary sector for the advantage of animal well being, livestock house owners’ group and the society at giant, it stated.

The initiative includes capability constructing in associated areas via coaching, exploring advertising potentialities for natural veterinary medicines on a sustainable foundation and offering for companies together with cultivation, preservation and conservation of medicinal crops.

The cooperation will assist in growing natural veterinary training programmes and creating consciousness amongst dairy farmers and agro-farmers about utilisation and significance of natural veterinary medication and cultivation of medicinal herbs, the assertion by Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying added.
