US President Joe Biden mentioned on Tuesday he want to maintain his proposed summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin throughout his June journey to Europe. “That is my hope and expectation. We’re working on it,” Biden informed reporters after a speech in regards to the U.S. response to the coronavirus.

Biden plans to attend a Group of Seven summit in Cornwall, England, set for June 11-13, after which fly to Brussels to fulfill European Union leaders and attend a June 14 NATO summit.

U.S. officers have been working with Russian counterparts on organising a Biden-Putin summit in a 3rd nation throughout what shall be Biden’s first abroad journey as president.
