Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited (AEML) customers can now pay their payments in three interest-free instalments, the corporate mentioned in a press assertion launched on Thursday. The facility might be availed by customers who pay their EMIs earlier than due date, AEML mentioned.
As per directives issued by the Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission (MERC), customers who’ve acquired electrical energy payments greater than double the common between March-May, should be given the choice of paying their payments in three EMIs.
Kandarp Patel, managing director and chief government officer of AEML, mentioned, “To support our esteemed consumers in the current situation of pandemic, we are happy to announce three interest free instalments to all our consumers paying their bills within the due date.”
In an earlier press interplay this week, Patel had mentioned that round 6.7 lakh customers are but to pay their payments and the corporate has an overdue of ₹750 crore.
