At least 12 coronavirus sufferers have been killed in a hearth at a hospital in Gujarat’s Bharuch in early hours on Saturday.

Around 50 different sufferers present process therapy at Welfare Hospital have been rescued by locals and firefighters, officers stated.

“At least 12 patients undergoing treatment in the Covid ward were killed in the fire and resultant smoke,” stated Bharuch SP Rajendrasinh Chudasama.

He feared that casualties might go up.

The four-storeyed designated Covid-19 hospital is located on the Bharuch-Jambusar freeway and is being run by a belief.

The hearth broke out round 1 am in a Covid ward on its floor ground, stated hearth officer Shailesh Sansiya.
