French authorities are investigating accusations that authorities ministers and others dined in secret eating places in violation of pandemic restrictions.

The Paris prosecutor’s workplace mentioned an investigation was opened Sunday into potential expenses of endangerment and undeclared labour, and to establish the organizers and contributors of the alleged gatherings.

A documentary that aired on French community M6 over the weekend included an unidentified man saying that he had eaten in two or three clandestine eating places “with a certain number of ministers.”

Government members rapidly denied data of such wrongdoing. Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin requested police to look into the claims.

The prosecutor’s workplace mentioned Monday that the investigation is continuous regardless of reviews that the person featured within the documentary had retracted his declare.
