Former AIADMK chief VK Sasikala was shifted to the intensive care ward of Bengaluru’s Victoria Hospital after testing optimistic for coronavirus (Covid-19) on Thursday.

“She has tested positive for Covid-19 but there are no other complications. Her oxygen saturation is around 98 per cent with around 10 litres of oxygen. There is a lung infection,” mentioned Dr Ok Ramesh Krishna, medical superintendent at Victoria Hospital. 

Sasikala was shifted to the Bowring Hospital on Thursday morning, simply seven days earlier than her scheduled launch, and her well being situation was reported to be steady. At 2.30pm, she was shifted to Victoria Hospital.
