The Archaeological Survey of India has unearthed a stone construction suspected to be the ground of a 10th century temple throughout excavation close to the 11th century Lingaraj temple in Bhubaneswar.

Among the heritage constructions demolished across the Lingaraj temple are the 11th century Ganesh temple known as Budha Ganesh on the northern aspect of Lingaraj complicated. It has been listed as a protected monument years in the past and is likely one of the smallest Ganesh temples of Bhubaneswar.
