Srinagar: BSF personnel keep vigil on aspirants appearing in an entrance exam, conducted by them during a recruitment rally, at Humhama on the outskirts of Srinagar, Sunday, Oct. 18, 2020. BSF held the second round of recruitment in the form of written test at its nine centers in Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

Around 30,000 candidates on Sunday participated within the written examination for recruitment within the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) within the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh, a BSF spokesperson stated. The written check of the candidates, hailing from 20 districts of Jammu and Kashmir and two districts of Ladakh, was carried out easily at varied centres amid strict adherence of COVID-19 protocols issued by the Centre and the 2 UT governments, he stated.

The spokesperson stated a complete of about 34,000 candidates, who’ve been declared certified in bodily Endurance Test and Physical Standard Test and documentation had been known as for the written examination for the recruitment to the publish of female and male constable (General Duty) within the BSF and the CISF. “There was huge enthusiasm among the candidates in not only Jammu but also in Kashmir and Ladakh regions. The percentage of absentees was very low,” he stated.

He stated the written examination was carried out at BSF Camps at Paloura in Jammu, Painthee in Samba, Subsidiary Training Centre (STC) Udhampur, sector headquarters Rajouri below accountability of frontier headquarter BSF Jammu and STC BSF Srinagar, Sighpura-Baramulla, Bandipora, Kupwara and Tangdhar in Kashmir. In Ladakh, the examination was carried out in Sub division Nubra Valley, ITBP Camp Leh, BSF Campus Neeru and Police line Kargil, the spokesperson stated, including that the particular recruitment rally was held below the general accountability of Frontier Headquarter BSF Kashmir.
